Volunteers wanted to take their clothes off and model on Swiss glacier

Yes, if you are interested to pose for the photo you can contact Greenpeace and start your journey right away. But it sure is not an easy job to pose on a freezing cold Alpine glacier.

Environmental group Greenpeace said that New York artist Spencer Tunick, famous for taking pictures of thousands of naked people in public settings worldwide, is taking a photo shoot to highlight the effects of climate change on Switzerland’s shrinking glaciers.

Greenpeace said if global warming continues at its current pace, most Swiss glaciers will disappear by 2080.

Prospective candidates from further afield will have to start making travel arrangements now. “We aim to make this a climate friendly event, so please come by public transport and don’t fly,” Greenpeace said.

The photo shown is one of the many photos taken by Spencer Tunick on May 6 in Mexico City. (News source CNN)
