So she’s been smoking since age seven?
How can she know exactly which cigarette it is?
Good god that woman is old.
Am I supposed to be impressed? Way to be a tool.
Wow, if she didn’t smoke she could probably have become one of the oldest persons to have lived.
Shut up you cynical idiots. just appreciate it.
Gives us smokers hope though.
Yes, we know its bad for us… either come up with an original comment or shut up already
Although it is interesting, I feel the purpose of the picture is trying to say that “tobacco is not necessarily bad for health” This is simply untrue, although this woman is 100 and smokes does not mean that her health could not have been better had she never smoked. So while the picture is pretty sweet, the message appears to be mixed up.
Thank you all for nice comments. I would like to add some of my thought here:
Smokers may feel relieved but I don’t think somebody should start smoking for this very reason.
Smoking is BAD and it DOES harm!
There are always exceptions and I believe this is one in millions.
She lucked out she didnt get cancer; but her 100 yard dash is just atrocious…..
That’s interesting … maybe smoking doesn’t really do jack to you. Perhaps it’s other things in combination with smoking that causes lung cancer. Like air fresheners, diet, location/vocation, shoot even air pollution.
Too bad she wasn’t present at the city council meeting in my area that banned smoking in public buildings.

absolutely stupid. so she got lucky, SO? does that mean my boyfriend has the right to poison my lungs?? she lived to 100. whoopee. I’ll shoot myself at 60, if i’m lucky.
