    biraj bhatta2 Biraj Bhatta has established himself as the No. 1 actor in Nepali film industry. Major competitors of Biraj are Rajesh Hamal and Nikhil Upreti. Action oriented movies go well with Bhatta. According to a report on the Naya Patrika daily, Biraj Bhatta is the highest paid actor today with a price of Rs 325,000, closely followed by Nikhil Upreti who charges Rs 300,000 per film. Rajesh Hamal comes third with Rs 275,000.

    निर्देशक ऋषि लामिछानेको नजरमा बिराज एकदेखि नौ नम्बरसम्मका हिरो हुन् अर्थात् अरू हिरोका नाम १० नम्बरदेखि मात्र सुरु हुन्छ।  

    रेखा थापाले बिराज भट्टलाई तीन वर्ष अघि आफ्नो क्याम्पमा नायकको रुपमा प्रबेश गराएकी थिईन्। तर यी दुई बीच लामो समायसम्म सम्बन्ध रहन सकेन। रेखाका तीनवटा चलचित्रमा नायक भएका बिराज त्यसपछि रेखा फिल्मस् क्याम्पबाट बाहिरिए। निखिल र बिराज एकअर्काका प्रतिस्पर्धी कलाकार हुन्। उनीहरू एउटै फिल्ममा सँगै अभिनय गर्न मान्दैनन्। निखिल र बिराजले सँगै फिल्म नखेल्ने कुरा अनौपचारिक हो। तर, निखिलले रेखासँग चाहिँ फिल्म नखेल्ने घोषणा नै गरेका हुन्।

    भट्ट त्यसो त साइड डान्सरको रुपमा निकै वर्ष नेपाली चलचित्र उद्योगमा संघर्षरत थिए । त्यो संघर्षको स्वाद एक दशकपछि मात्र पाएका छन् । उनले पहिलो पटक अग्निपथ र मैदानमा एक साथ अभिनय थालेका थिए । तर अहिले यी नायकको प्रशंसाभन्दा पनि कुरा काट्ने व्यक्तिहरु नै बढी देखिएका छन् । अहिले त उनी राजेश हमाल को हो र निखिललाई त चिन्दिनँसमेत भन्न पछि पर्दैनन् भन्ने खबरहरु स्थानीय गसिप म्यागेजिनहरुले छापिरहेका छन् । फुल्ने, दम्भ राख्ने र ठूलो पल्टने कतिपय रुचिका कारण चलचित्र उदोगबाट धिरेन शाक्य, रमेश उप्रेतीजस्ता नायकहरु पाखा लागिसकेको बताउँदै उनलाई सप्रन समय दिनुपर्ने कतिपयको राय छ ।
