We wish you a very Happy Valentine Day!
I wasn’t brought-up with Valentine Day culture but I choose to differ in views with some people in Nepal who think the day as a cultural encroachment from the western world.
As long as it is symbolizes love and affection there is nothing wrong in adopting a festival of another culture/religion. Presenting rose to one’s lover is a blissful event.
Definition of the Day : Saint Valentine’s Day is an annual holiday held on February 14 to celebrate love and affection between intimate companions. The day is named after Christian martyrs named Valentine. In the day, lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, greeting cards and other gifts.

It was a surprising twist to the sex scandal, but, it sure was a happy end!The 15 minutes marriage ceremony should have broken the record of being shortest Nepali celebrity marriage ceremony (a public one, of course).
Pooja told the reporters that they were planning a huge ceremony but had to do it in a hurry. … we can understand that … don’t you?
Yes, the groom was Shishir Sangtang, a DJ in one of the Kathmandu FMs.
It was Pooja’s second marriage. Her first marriage with Biraj Lopchan, with whom she had a son, ended in 7 month. After the unsuccessful marriage, she was deeply in love with Dinesh DC and tried to commit suicide when Dinesh refused to marry her.
She sure needs all the best wishes she can get. Let’s wish her a long, happy and prosperous married life and see some photos of her marriage.

Miss France survived photo controversy
Valerie Begue, 22, from Reunion, nearly lost her Miss France crown when magazine published a risque series of photographs in which she was seen lying in a crucifixion-like pose while wearing a bikini or licking condensed milk in a suggestive manner.Valérie Bègue, or Valerie Begue in English, is Miss Reunion. She was born on September 26, 1985, in Saint Pierre, the third-largest commune in the French overseas département of Réunion in Indian Ocean. Miss Valerie Beuge was elected as Miss France on December 8, being the first Miss France from the Réunion island since Monique Uldaric, elected in 1976.

Vietnam – Hoang Thuy Linh – Paris Hilton type scandal
In America, Paris Hilton’s notorious sex tape started her career in the glamour industry but in Vietnam, an online sex video starring TV sweetheart Hoang Thuy Linh has question marked her career!In Vietnam, however, this 19-year-old’s online antics has the entire nation calling them — and her — an unforgiveable disgrace.
In “Vang Anh’s Diaries,” Thuy Linh starred as a high school girl who upholds Vietnam’s traditional virtues. Translation? Women are chaste — not churning with sexual desire. Then the 16-minute video hit. Thanks to four college students who posted the clip on the Internet on October 15, the world watched this teen queen and her former boyfriend do the nasty knowing that the camera was on them.
In no time, her TV show was dumped by her network. The tearful actress in national TV said, “I made a mistake, a terrible mistake. I apologize to you, my parents, my teachers and my friends.”

Top 10 Highest Peaks in the World
Nepal is blessed with 8 out of 10 highest peaks in the world and Nepali people are proud of it. I am going to present some photos and details of the ten highest peaks in this post.
1. Mount Everest 8850m (29035ft) Nepal
The highest peak in the world, Mount Everest is also called Qomolangma/Chomolungma (Tibetian) and Sagarmatha (Nepali). Chomolungma in Tibetian means “Mother of the Universe” or “Goddess Mother of the Snows” and Sagarmatha in Nepali means “Head of the Sky”. 3. Kangchenjunga 8586m (28169ft) Nepal
Kangchenjunga translated means “The Five Treasures of Snows”, as it contains five peaks, four of them over 8,450 metres.

Living Sculpture on Swiss Glacier – Photos
I talked about the call for volunteers for this event in one of my previous post. About 600 people responded to the call and were brave enough to take their clothes off in the cold glacier.
Hundreds of naked people pose in front of the Aletsch glacier during a massive naked photo session with U.S. photographer Spencer Tunick, near Bettmeralp, Switzerland, Saturday Aug. 18, 2007.
The environmental group Greenpeace commissioned Tunick to take pictures of nude volunteers on a Swiss glacier to call attention to the issue of global warming and its impact on glaciers.
“I want my images to go more than skin-deep. I want the viewers to feel the vulnerability of their existence and how it relates closely to the sensitivity of the world’s glaciers,” said photographer, Spencer Tunick.

Mouse pad to feel
If you are using computer a lot for typing, surfing you might feel you hands need to rest a little. Repeated mouse clicks can cause some repetitive stress related problems. It is not well known weather a wrist rest in in a mouse pad helps in reducing stress or not but according to this Harvard page, wrist-rest for a keyboard is a clear no no.

Volunteers wanted to take their clothes off and model on Swiss glacier
Yes, if you are interested to pose for the photo you can contact Greenpeace and start your journey right away. But it sure is not an easy job to pose on a freezing cold Alpine glacier.
Environmental group Greenpeace said that New York artist Spencer Tunick, famous for taking pictures of thousands of naked people in public settings worldwide, is taking a photo shoot to highlight the effects of climate change on Switzerland’s shrinking glaciers.
Greenpeace said if global warming continues at its current pace, most Swiss glaciers will disappear by 2080.
The photo shoot, which follows Tunick’s previous shoots in London, Mexico City and Amsterdam, will take place in August at an undisclosed location in Switzerland.Prospective candidates from further afield will have to start making travel arrangements now. “We aim to make this a climate friendly event, so please come by public transport and don’t fly,” Greenpeace said.

Condom Fashion Show in China
Condom fashion show was held at the Fourth China Reproductive Health New Technologies and Products Expo and organized by China’s largest condom manufacturer, Guilin Latex Factory, to promote the use of condoms in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Beijing July 11, 2007. It marked the World Population Day, organized annually by the U.N. Population Fund.
Models showed off tight-fitting wedding gowns, scaly-looking evening dresses, outrageous bikinis and other garments made entirely of condoms.
Condoms of all shapes and sizes were displayed at the fashion show featuring dresses, hats and even lollipops made of them.

Girls in High-heel race in St. Petersburg
Walking on high-heels in itself seems troublesome to some ladies in the streets. Have you imagined what will happen if they were to run for a prize. Real race of girls on high-heels was witnessed in St.Petersburg on July 21, 2007 and as you can imagine lot of participants couldn’t complete the race.Some 100 women took part in the high-heel sprint wearing shoes with heels of at least 9 centimeter (3.5 inches) with a goal to win a shopping voucher woth of about $2,000 (50,000 roubles).

Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders Debut Sexy Swimsuit Calendar
Special anniversary edition of 2007-2008 Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders will be available after 26th of July. The 16 months calendar will feature all 38 current cheerleaders and the past 5 calendar cover girls in swimsuits. The photos are taken in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Russian Style Wedding – photos
Think about pros and cons marrying a russian girl! Well, looking at these photos of a russian marriage it would add-up some more reason to marry a russian bride.
While looking at her dress I had only one question – is it made of some sort already unecessary underwear or was ordered as a new one, without using third party underwear parts?
And another question, I wondered why didn’t her future spouse wear something like this. He is wearing some crumpled suite, but he could put on something really worth of his bride, maybe some boxers.
