Cops Find Gator, Suspects In Basement
City police found an unlikely resident along with three robbery suspects while searching a house: a 6-foot alligator. Officers stumbled across the reptile in the basement of the property in the city's Homewood section Wednesday night. They also found an emaciated pit bull.
