Runner-up in the BBC World Challenge 08 (again)

Two runner up of the World Challenge 08 Shanti Sewa Griha (Nepal) and Agricultural School (Paraguay) each received a grant of USD $10,000.
Shanti Sewa Griha is a self-sufficient society for leprosy victims and other social outcasts.
Last year, Foundation for Sustainable Technologies (FoST) was the runner up for cooking without gas project. It uses solar cookers and briquette presses to make smokeless fuel from waste materials.
A Pakistani project Plan Bee has won the World Challenge 08 with a cash prize of $20,000 to plough back into the Plan Bee project.
