Thank you – Blog statistics
Posted on May 1st, 2009 No commentsNote: This post was written when I got excited on the popularity of the blog, and when pageview approached 100,000. After 15 months (on August 1, 201) the site visitors have increased several folds. We had our lows in December when we had to move the webhost (and stats was offline for sometime). This is the last update in this page as nobody (except myself) is interested in such stuffs. It however feels good to expect a million pageviews in a couple of month.
In recent days xnepali blog has seen increased number of visitors. It sure will motivate me to update the blog regularly.

[Update September 15, 2009]Thanks again. I am adding updated chart mid-way September. It is already more than the level of April month’s data. And it is only for blog.xnepali.com (not xnepali.com!)[Update September 30, 2009] By the end of September total page-views was 260,000, way higher than what I expected. Nepali Movies continue to lead the most visited page in the blog.
Nepali movies that I have collected in this blog have gained popularity among Nepali living in various parts of the world. I don’t approve piracy and want people to go to theaters and watch the movies but it simply is not possible for people living out of the country. The movies I have collected are freely available in the net. None of them are exclusive to this blog and I have not uploaded any of them. In the initial days I collected them for my personal viewing. Now it looks like a lot of people are finding them helpful. The stats (shown below) looks promising.I have received complaints that some of them are not complete. I can’t do much in most of the cases as the uploader might have missed the part. I can either ask them to upload remaining part or remove the incomplete movie from the list.
Apart from Nepali Movies the post about Ram Bahadur Bomjom got lot of attention from the readers. Mt. Everest records also got fair amount of readers. People also seem to love the seven top weird houses. There are many more I would like to mention but it will be a big list and it won’t make much sense.
The bottom line – Thank you all for visiting, writing comments and motivating me to go on blogging. I love you!
